School Council Prepares For Save The Children Spring Fayre

01 Mar

The School Council planted spring flowers in mugs on Friday 1 March, ready for the Kenilworth Spring Fayre.

The Save the Children's Kenilworth Spring Fayre takes place on Saturday 9 March and Crackley Hall’s School Council will be having a stall. The children will be selling the perfect Mother’s Day present – beautiful spring flowers potted carefully in a mug.

On Friday, the school council welcomed Monique, a Save the Children volunteer, into school to help prepare the plants to sell. They carefully filled mugs full of compost before planting them with spring flowers. The older children helping the younger ones with the task. The mugs all looked so beautiful we are sure they will fly off the stall.

The fayre is a lovely event, with lots of super stalls and coffee and cake too. So why not support the School Council by popping along to St Francis of Assisi Parish Centre next Saturday 9 March from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
