U9 Netball Girls Just Miss A Medal At The ISA Midlands Tournament

19 Mar

The U9 Netball team just missed a medal at the ISA Midlands Tournament that took place on Tuesday 18 March at Stafford Prep.

Our girls had a fantastic time in the sunshine, embracing the opportunity to gain real match experience playing a round-robin of games.

The girls got off to a good start with a 1-1 draw against Foundation rivals Crescent School. They then played Adcote School and were delighted to win 8-1. The team went down 1-2 in a close match against Highclare School before holding Ranby School to a 1-1 draw. They finished with a 1-1 draw against Tettenhall College and in their the final match just lost out 1-2 against Mylnhurst School.

The girls were superstars all day, giving their all and have plenty of learning to take away.

They finished fourth overall, so just out of the medals. A huge well done to them all!
