Pupils Deliver A Moving Retelling Of The Easter Story

28 Mar

Pupils in Junior 4 and Junior 3 took to the stage on Thursday 27 March to perform Hosanna, a simple but dramatic mini-musical that portrayed the intrigue and emotions of the Easter story.

unior 4 performed on stage with Junior 3 provided the supporting chorus and it was wonderful to see the children throwing their hearts into the performance and bringing the story to life. From Palm Sunday, through the Last Supper and the betrayal in the Garden of Gethsemane, to the trial and crucifixion and finally the resurrection, pupils carried the narrative with emotion and passion.

Together they delivered a moving production, full of expectation, disappointment and ultimately joy, messages well worth reflecting on as we approach the Easter break.

Congratulations to all the pupils on a brilliant performance and thank you to the staff for all their hard work putting the show together.
