Crackley Hall School Embraces Digital Learning!

28 Feb

At Crackley Hall School, we are embracing digital learning to enable us to provide the highest-quality learning in the future. This means championing digitised content and ensuring that learning is personalised, collaborative and enables children to show their understanding and talents in a range of ways.

We also believe that it is invaluable, as the primary educators of your children, for you to be able to see their learning at school, as it happens.

In the last 18 months, we have developed the use of the children’s Digital Journal through the Seesaw app to capture learning, alongside their school exercise books. This has involved a substantial investment to ensure that all year groups have access to their own dedicated set of iPads.

We have been doing this, in order to:

  • Ensure that learning is engaging, interactive and collaborative.
  • Build the children’s digital skills in preparation for the modern world.
  • Increase sustainability across the school.
  • Improve access and evidence learning for a range of children’s learning styles.

We are now ready to roll out the Digital Journals to parents and hope you enjoy engaging with school in this new way.

Look out for your child's Digital Journal code to access the app at home and join us on Wednesday 5 March at 5.00pm when Mrs Malcolm will be running an online Digital Journal Parent Workshop to answer your queries.
