Crackley Hall Hosts Girls' Football Festival

14 Feb

Crackley Hall School hosted a girls’ football festival on Friday 14 February, for pupils in Year 3 and Year 4.

We welcomed U8 and U9 teams from Crescent School, Park Hill School, Priors Field School, Warwick Prep School, The Croft Prep School and Dixie Grammar for a fantastic day of footballing fun out on the sports fields.

Despite the cold wind, the girls were all quick to put on their boots and head on to the fields to show off their footballing prowess.

As well as playing mini matches, the teams also had the chance to take part in two training sessions, courtesy of local football team Kenilworth Wardens and Sports Leaders from our Foundation’s senior school Princethorpe College, who were delighted to come along and coach the girls.

A huge well done to all who took part, it was super to see everyone getting fully involved and giving it their all. Thanks also to our Junior 6 pupils who refereed the games.

Crackley Hall School was delighted to help champion girls football in schools.
